Code of Ethics
I, desire to uphold the highest level of integrity, professionalism, along with a reputation of helping people transform their lives. In accordance with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) requirements, I (Tiega, operating as By Tiega) have developed guidelines for operation, which will best ensure the coaching relationship is beneficial to both client(s) and coach.
What you can expect from your coach:

Always conduct themselves to the highest levels of ethics, integrity, accountability and responsibility.

Treat all clients and potential clients with absolute dignity, confidentiality and respect as free and equal individuals.

To provide an environment that is warm, accepting & positive

To always coach in an encouraging, inspirational & professional manner.

To avoid all dual role relationships & where possible all other conflicts of interest.

To be responsible for being culturally sensitive & provide clear, appropriate boundaries for the coaching relationship.

To be respectful of the client’s freedom of choice.

Obtain written permission from any client or potential client before releasing their names as referees.

To always provide information that is sound and true to the best of the coach’s knowledge.

To uphold the good name of the coaching profession at all times.
Client Information & Privacy

Prior to the first coaching session, the client will be informed about the nature of the coaching relationship, financial arrangements, confidentiality issues and any other terms of the coaching agreement.

To be respectful of the client’s right to confidentiality.

To accurately and confidentially maintain, store and dispose of client files/documentation related to the coaching relationship.
The Client’s Responsibility
Whilst engaged in the Services of By Tiega, clients are expected to:

Act honestly, conscientiously and reasonably at all times whilst attending coaching session,

Treat all others with courtesy and respect, without harassment, or physical or verbal abuse or discrimination to prevent an atmosphere of hostility or intimidation.

At no time show the effects of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, or bring these into the coaching sessions.

Avoid placing yourself in situations which maybe compromising or have allegations made against them.
Once your coaching relationship has finished the coach will:-

Arrange a closure session (if required)

Make contact with you in due course to find out how things are progressing.
